Wonderful fun video created by animation students and directed by Mike Patterson. It was done with Jeff Lynne's permission, and features newly remastered audio. This is uplifting stuff. The work of Gustav Hoegen,with credits including; Prometheus, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Clash of the Titans, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Doctor Who and more.It's astounding the amount of engineering and artistry that goes into these illusions. CGI affords artists some great tools, but there will always be room for excellent practical effects like these.
